Ticked off about Tourette Syndrome? This book is for you!

Happily ticked off cover high-resWe’re Ticked Off pleased to announce our upcoming release, Happily Ticked Off: A MOM-Moir by former television writer, editor, and mom extraordinaire, Andrea Frazer. With tongue-in-cheek humor and lift-your-heart optimism, this book chronicles one mother’s journey from despair to hope over her son’s Tourette Syndrome. Here’s a description:

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the tics I can’t change, change the tics I can, and have the wisdom to know the difference.”

Such is the mantra for former TV writer, Andrea Frazer, when her son is diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at age four. After hearing nightmare-inducing stories of kids whose lives were destroyed by uncontrollable tics and twitches, Frazer is paralyzed with fear that her son will bark, scream and shout obscenities in circle time.

Turns out the only person who barks, screams and curses is her, as she goes head to head with this confusing disorder. Written with transparency, truthfulness and a whole lot of humor, Frazer walks parents through the special-needs rabbit hole, and brings them into the light of hope and healing.
